For nearly four decades, ABNY has been bringing together leaders from government, business, labor, education, health, sports & entertainment, and tourism to solve the problems of the day. As the City’s premier civic organization ABNY’s over 300 member organizations work together to make New York City a better place to live, work, and visit.
To further support our mission, The ABNY Foundation, a tax-exempt non-profit corporation has been established to raise funds for social, educational, and other various programs.

On Tuesday, March 11, 2008, over 400 ABNY members and guests gathered at Blue Fin Restaurant in Times Square to raise funds for The ABNY Foundation while bestowing the Spirit of ABNY award on Lew Leone of Fox5/My9; Kenneth E. Raske of the Greater New York Hospital Association; and Deputy Mayor Edward Skyler for their good work and service to the community. Former Mayor Edward I. Koch was presented with the Lew Rudin Founders Award for his lifelong dedication and commitment to making New York a better place to live, work, and visit.
